Meet Chef Wendi

Nourishment for the Soul

The kitchen at our retreats is guided by the artistry and philosophy of Chef Wendi, whose approach to cooking is a beautiful blend of professional mastery and a lifelong connection to the earth.


From Mediterranean Waters to Le Cordon Bleu
Wendi’s relationship with food began on the water. Raised on a boat, she learned the art of intuitive cooking from her mother, sourcing local ingredients while journeyed across the Mediterranean. This early immersion in the rhythms of the seasons and the "spirit of place" remains the heartbeat of her kitchen today.


To complement her natural intuition, Wendi formally refined her craft at Le Cordon Bleu in London. Her diverse professional career has spanned:
 * Refining techniques at a prestigious Kent country house hotel.
 * Cooking in the high altitudes of Italian alpine ski resorts.
 * Managing galleys on Mediterranean charter yachts.
 * Catering large-scale international events in Canada.
 * Founding and running her own bespoke catering company in the UK.


Food as Energy and Intention
Wendi operates on a simple yet profound philosophy: Food is energy, and energy shapes experience.
Her menus are intentionally designed to support the workshop and retreat journey. Every meal is crafted to be grounding and vibrant, serving as a culinary extension of yoga, meditation, and inner exploration. By prioritizing sustainability and mindful preparation, Wendi ensures that every dish offers guests a sense of warmth, connection, and presence.


A Natural Collaboration
Beyond her culinary gifts, Wendi is a familiar face within our community. A dedicated Yogini and Ironman athlete, she has long used yoga as a tool for both physical endurance and inner peace.


This partnership is born from years of friendship and a shared trust in the power of conscious nourishment. It is a joyful transition to have Wendi lead our kitchen, bringing her unique presence and "earth-rooted" flavors to our table.
