Pure Love

We are a collective of seekers healers and friends, committed to living with intention.

In Yoga, we seek union. In Ayurveda, we seek balance. This space is a collection of "love notes" from those who have stepped onto the mat or sat at the table with me. These stories reflect the personal shifts, the moments of clarity, and the restored harmony our community has experienced.

I share them to honor the light within each of us.

I have been doing yoga with Helen for about a year now and I have found that it has helped immensely with my mental health. Within her sessions I’ve been able to shut out the noise that bounces around my head. My flexibility, and looking after myself has improved greatly. Helen is very kind and professional, and was able to adjust my sessions when I broke my ankle making me feel loved and supported within her classes. If you are thinking of Yoga, Helen is the best, very lovely and caring person.

Helen changed my life, literally! I was feeling old, stiff and achy 5 years into menopause. I had given up on ever feeling normal again. Seven years of Helen’s classes I’m putting my body in positions I never thought possible. Age is not a barrier just a mindset and Helen has made me realise this and I will be forever grateful. Yoga and her classes are part of my life now and I always do it.

For the last 3 years I have found my weekly class to be the perfect time to positively reset both my mind and body. Classes are inclusive, meaningful and well planned. Thank goodness for Helen and Pure Yoga.

Your Mum is a beautiful soul as you already know, and you can see how much she puts into these events. Wendi's food was absolutely beautiful and I felt well nourished afterwards, as I always did when you served us your lovely food. It was great seeing you be able to interact with the group a little afterwards and hopefully have a little bit more energy for yourself this time around. I loved hearing about your intention and thought it was a lovely touch for you to speak to us all and then come round with the oil.

My Ayurvedic journey with Helen began in the comforting atmosphere of her home, where her warm presence immediately eased my anxiety. We collaborated to analyze my lifestyle and diet, resulting in a personalized plan tailored to my constitution, including daily routines and nourishing food suggestions. Throughout the process, I felt deeply supported by Helen’s attentive follow-ups and expert guidance. This experience has been truly transformative, leaving me inspired to continue implementing her holistic advice to improve my well-being and maintain lasting balance.

Having attended other yoga classes which follow the same format each week I moved to Helen’s classes a year ago. Every week there is a different theme and no practice is the same. Throughout each session Helen clearly articulates each move so we know where our hands / arms / legs / feet should be and what we should be doing with them! Music always compliments the vibe of each session and classes are relaxed, supportive and friendly. I am extremely glad I made the change.

Helen's classes are really enjoyable, sometimes challenging but always rewarding and you come out at the end feeling both energised and relaxed. They are well structured and different each week, there's always some lovely music playing in the background and the room is very comfortable. The instructions she gives for each move are really clear which means you can concentrate on what you're doing on the mat without having to look up all the time. She is a very generous, kind and thoughtful teacher and I love coming to her classes!

Helen’s mindful movement yoga classes are amazing, she is thoughtful, generous and choreographs different sequencing for us dependening on the seasons, the sun and the moon. My body and mind, strength and balance have all improved massively and I really notice when I have not been able to attend.

I would like to just say a massive thank you for Fridays yoga evening! As always it was so lovely, I don't know how you remember everything! Our supper was delicious! I'm so gratetul for always being able to join your special evenings. I can't tell you how special these evenings are to me. I real appreciate how much hard work you and your mum put into this for us.

I always look forward to my Wednesdays ‘on the mat’ with Pure Yoga.  The Spectrum Studio is the perfect place for an hour of self-care.  I had never done any yoga before starting Helen’s classes a couple of years ago and I've benefited not only physically, but mentally and emotionally too.  I feel more at one with the world around me and much more resilient against life’s struggles.  I find I have become less judgemental of others and much less critical. The class often ends with Helen’s beautiful words of encouragement, which send me on my way feeling motivated and calm. Thank you, Helen, you are truly inspirational.

I joined Helen's class several years ago after my regular yoga teacher moved away. The class environment has always been very welcoming and I particularly enjoy the variety, no two weeks are ever the same. Helen is an excellent teacher who notices everyone in the class and gives valuable pointers regarding posture and staying within safe practice to avoid injury. The classes vary between flow, strength and restorative and you always come away feeling much better than when you arrived!

I have been attending Helen's yoga classes for some time now and what can I say, I don't think I have missed a class! If I have, then I have usually contacted Helen to re-schedule my practice to a different session, so I don't miss out. Helen's classes are beautifully thought out each week and I regularly leave the class, feeling calmer and more grounded. Helen shows how she really cares about each of her students, by creating a warm and beautifully crafted room with relaxing music and incense. Helen chats to her students at the beginning and end of a practice and cares deeply about how they feel at the end of a practice, as well as how they are feeling in general. I really hope Helen continues to teaching yoga for the foreseeable future!
